How it started & current status
BDB Point is the brainchild of its yound and dynamic founder – Mr. Bapu Sangle.
As the EV market in India started to grow, government policies started to aid EV infrastructure development like EV charging stations in different parts of India with introduction of FAME 2 .
Mr. Sangle decided to grab this opportunity and serve with his capabilities to solve the problem of EV infrastructure with his own solution of BDB Point, which is a 360 degree solution for EV charging.
He finally started it on May 2019 and became one of the few early EV charging solution providers in India.

2. Battery Swapping Solution
BDB is one of the rare solution provider in India who provide battery swapping solution and help to reduce TAT between a discharged battery on the vehicle and the fully charged battery on the vehicle (provided, the vehicle have that hardware to swap battery).
This also reduces the cost of ownership for EVs as the owner need not to pay for the batteries.

The mobile app for EV charging stations from BDB, provides a complete peace of mind for EV owners.

On government policies for EV
” Government is very positive toward making policies and support is required for putting EV Chargers & EV’s on roads cross India.
The Fame-1 has big impact on sales of EV’s as compared to IC engine vehicle, providing subsidy & customer awareness increased due to low cost vehicle and cost of operating EV. FAME-2 proposes that the quantum of incentives be linked to the cost of advance batteries (non-lead acid batteries) and the government will be neutral to all types of EV technologies—hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), plug-in hybrids (PHEV) and battery electric vehicles (BEV). While the growth outlook for auto sector is positive, the consumer acceptance of EVs in India remains challenging.
Indian consumers demand highest performance levels at lowest prices, and Indian driving conditions are tough due to high temperatures, slow average speeds. ”

As various EV cars required specific type of gun & ultimately charger come into picture.
Considering growth of EV market in 2W & 3W segments, battery technology & charging type needs standardization from local manufacturers, few of them were using Lithium with charger compatible to Bharat AC001 standard, while getting charging solution for other make due to unavailability of Standard technology –Charging Solution not found suitable which reduces maximum demand of EV chargers.
The EV market is still growing & cost of technology along with complete end-to-end solution is very high, for accounting same BDB comes into picture having low cost sustainable products that meet customer’s demand.”

As an EV Charging company, we have plans to setup & built 1000 numbers of (500AC & 500DC )Charging Stations in public & private domains, by addition of Real Estate Builders, parking providers, EPC & Oil Companies.
Those charging station incorporated over BDB Point Mobile App which have many features inbuilt & simple to operate by any person.
By sales & marketing plans to supply maximum numbers of EV Charges on CAPEX & optional OPEX. ”
